There are a few key recommendations we have to ensure you have the most dynamic Boards. Let’s break it down by Board type: Desktop Boards vs Mobile/Tablet Boards.

Desktop Boards

To ensure the best performance of your Boards, we recommend the maximum Widgets included on each Board be between 7 or 8.

We also recommend for you to check your date range to ensure you are pulling data for the appropriate time period you plan to analyze.

If you plan on including filters in your Widgets, make sure to check them to make sure what you are filtering is still relevant. For example, if you are filtering by Campaign, make sure the Campaigns you have selected are still running. If they are not, be sure to switch them out for ones that are.

When Designing a Board, make sure not to clutter the Board with too many visual effects or colors. Visualizations should be used to enhance your analysis, not distract from it.

You can utilize our Color Palette feature to customize the colors you would like to display on your Board.

There are many possibilities for how you can visualize your data and layout your Board. For reference below, we have included a look at a Demo Board with various Widget types included.

Mobile / Tablet Boards

Mobile Boards and Tablet Boards are created and managed in a different section of the Reporting Platform called the Mobile Board section. These Boards are used for quick glances at KPIs for users on the go.

We suggest using graphs or visual Widgets to give you a high-level overview of your data rather than granular tables that may be more difficult to view on smaller devices.

You can update these Boards on your desktop in the Mobile section or on your mobile device by selecting the gear in the top right-hand corner of the Widget.
