In this article, you'll learn about Snapshots in MSIGHTS Reporting.

Snapshots are static views of Board data. It allows users to temporarily share Boards with both MSIGHTS users and non-MSIGHTS users.

What are the Use Cases and Benefits of Snapshots?

1) For reporting calls:

  • Best way to communicate to stakeholders' performance results in time.

  • Snapshots are designed for presentation purposes; Widgets run fastest in Snapshots.

  • Data is frozen at the point in time that the Snapshot is created.

  • Specific notes can be included with insights and recommendations.

2) To address a broader audience, some of whom may not be MSIGHTS users:

  • An email is sent to each person with a direct link to the Snapshot.

  • It can be shared with both MSIGHTS users and non-MSIGHTS users.

  • Data is static in Snapshots, so all users have the same view of data.
