How do I create a Snapshot?

In this article, you'll learn how to create a Snapshot in MSIGHTS Reporting.

  1. In the Board Toolbar, click the Board Settings icon to open the Board Actions Menu.

  2. Go to Snapshot and click “Create Snapshot”.

  3. In Snapshot Creation screen, configure the Snapshot as desired. A guide to the fields is available below.

  4. Once you are satisfied with the configuration, click "Create & Send" to send the Snapshot out.

  5. Viewers will receive an email with a link to the Snapshot.

Note: In step 3, you may send a preview email before creating the Snapshot.

Snapshot Setting

Description

Snapshot Name

Enter the desired name. Default nomenclature is:

Snapshot - [Board Name] - DD-MMM-YYYY

Expiration Date

Select the desired date for the view to expire. Default date is:

30 days after creation date

Shared with

Add the desired viewers.

  • Add Users: allows access to users who already have MSIGHTS access.

  • Add Guests: allows access to users who do not have MSIGHTS access; must input an email address.

Email Content

Enter any text that will accompany the email notification after the Snapshot is created for the desire viewers.

Data Sharing Acknowledgement

Acknowledgement and confirmation to share data captured in the Snapshot.
