Parameter Passing is Media Planner feature that acts as a shortcut to filter for selected Attributes in Reporting.

When users are in Media Planner, they can easily visualize data associated with an Attribute in Reporting by using Board Templates by using the Parameter Passing feature.

  • Parameter Passing is only available for selected attributes.

  • The selected attribute needs to have at least 1 Board Template configured to work with it.

How do I use Parameter Passing?

  1. Either go to or create a Data Widget in Media Planner with the selected attribute you wish to pass to Reporting.

  2. Hover your cursor over the Attribute. If it's a Attribute that has Parameter Passing activated, the Parameter Passing icon will appear on the left of the Attribute.

  3. Click on the Parameter Passing icon, then select which Board Template to visualise the data associated with the parameter.

  4. You'll brought to the Template in Reporting, with the selected Attribute as the Board Criteria.
