In this article, you'll learn how to see and correct error(s) during import process in the Data Importer application.

When you are in the validation stage of the Data Importer process, you may easily edit any of the rejected records and validate them again without having to go through the whole process.

  • Blue Tick = All fields are correctly populated and accepted.

  • Yellow Ticket = All fields are correctly populated but there are duplicated rows.*

  • Warning = There are errors in this Media Flight. You can move your cursor over the warning indicator to see which cell(s) is being rejected and the reason(s).

There are a couple of tools in the upload validation screen to help you find and fix errors in your uploads. To find the error, you may search for a specific line item or filter them based on specific conditions.

Once you narrowed down to the error, follow the steps below to fix it:

  1. In the Import screen, click the "Fix Errors" button to enter edit mode.

  2. Hover over the errors (cells that are highlighted in red), click on it and make your desired correction.

  3. Once the corrections have been made, click on the "Save and Validate" button to validate the data again.

  4. If the error is corrected, the cell will no longer be highlighted in red after validation.

Note: If a field has a drop-down menu, a downward icon will appear on the right of the cell you're editing.
