In this article, you'll learn how to create your first Media Flight in MSIGHTS Media Planner.
The steps to create a Media Flight are similar to making an upload in Data Importer. This means you can create multiple Media Flights across multiple Media Plans simultaneously by downloading a template, preparing it, then uploading it in the Media Planner Application.
Where do I download the Media Flight Creation Template?
Flight Creation Templates are client specific. If you need help with its preparation, please reach out to MSIGHTS Support team.
From the Left Navigation Panel, select "Create Media Flight" under "Action/Maintenance".
When the pop-up box appears, select the tactic which you intend to create a Media Flight for.
You may also view the requirements of the selected template by clicking on the "View Requirements" button.
Click on "Download Loader" and the template will automatically start downloading to your device.

How do I upload the Media Flight Creation Template to create a Media Flight?
From the Left Navigation Panel, select "Create Media Flight" under "Action/Maintenance".
When the pop-up box appears, select the tactic which you intend to create a Media Flight for.
Click on "Select File" and select the template from your computer.
You will be brought to the validation screen where MSIGHTS validate the data on the template to ensure it's been prepared correctly.
If the template has been prepared correctly, click on the "Upload" button to create the Media Flights.
Once the flights are created, you'll be brought to the Import Record Summary screen.
