How do I create my Reporting Alert?

In this article, you'll learn how to create your Alert in MSIGHTS Reporting.

  1. Either add a new Widget or edit an existing Widget.

  2. When configuring Widget, the Alerts section can be found at the bottom as section 7 of Widget Settings.

  3. Name and Description: Give your Alert a meaningful name, description.

  4. Priority: Since only 1 alert can show up in the Widget at 1 time, only Alerts with the highest priorities will take precedent.

  5. Font and Background Color: Configured the font and background color of the Alert that shows up in the Widget.

  6. Email Notification: Indicate if an email notification should be sent out or not

  7. Frequency: Indicate if you want alerts to be activated everyday when the data meets the conditions, or only the first time the data meets the condition in the last 48 hours.

  8. Configure the conditions for alerts to be triggered.

  9. Indicate who you want to share the alerts with. The sharing list is limited to who the Boards are shared to.

  10. After configurating in the Widget Settings page, you need to turn the Alert on at the notification icon at the lower right corner of the Widget that you just configured.
