Reporting Alerts is the notification feature in MSIGHTS Reporting.

Reporting Alerts helps you keep track of campaign performance or flag any data quality issues in a timely fashion by notifying you when certain conditions are met. Here's an overview of the feature:

  • Can be configured in Widget Settings.

  • Only works on the Simple Table Widgets.

  • Conditions can only be set on metrics.

  • Can be configured to send out a email notification when alerts are triggered.

  • Reporting Alerts are checked and triggered after each data promotion.

  • You can see all received Alerts at the Notification Bell in the Left Navigation Bar.

How do Alerts look like?

There are 3 parts to the Reporting Alerts feature:

  1. Widget Alert that shows up when its triggered

  2. Alert Counter next to the Board Name

  3. Alert Notification Bell that acts as an inbox to all received alerts.
