In this article, you'll learn how to filter a Widget to show only the top or bottom metric(s) in MSIGHTS Reporting.

This feature is effective for focusing on either top or bottom metric(s) in a table, or to reduce clutter in a chart. You may also apply this filter to both Original Source and Transformed Datasets, and to both Planned and Results Metrics. Here are the steps:

  1. Create a Draft Board if needed.

  2. Move your mouse to the top right corner of the Widget.

  3. When the Widget Options appear, click the gear icon to open the Widget Settings.

  4. Move your mouse to the Metric that you want to add this filter to and click on "Advanced Options".

  5. In the "Advanced Options" tab, go to the "Top or Bottom Results" tab.

  6. Select whether you want to filter for the Top or Bottom metric, and how many entries you want to include.

  7. Click "Apply" to save the metric filter, and click "Save" to save the new widget settings.

  8. Your Widget should now show only the results that match your metric filter criteria.
